Rio de Janeiro
I grew up and lived in Rio de Janeiro for many years, and one of my greatest pleasures between 2013-2014 was riding my bike and exploring the city in search of photographic subjects. Sometimes, I would leave early in the morning and photograph until nightfall.

The sunny afternoons near the beach allowed me to capture incredible photos that encapsulated the vibrant essence of life as a ‘carioca’ by the coast.
I like to think of my style as minimalist, as that is the aesthetic I seek in every shot. I strive to balance the main subject with an element of space that conveys lightness and invites contemplation. At that time, I was in a period of shooting monstly in black and white, although my desire to explore different styles varies with the moment.
